Can I replace my main shingle roof and low-slope dormer roof at the same time?

Can I replace my main shingle roof and low-slope dormer roof at the same time?

This Chicago full roof replacement was a true top-to-bottom roofing refresh. Anchor Point Roofing removed the old shingles and underlayment from the main roof, then installed a new Malarkey Vista architectural shingle system. The old roof had put in its years—like an old Chicago winter coat, it was time for a better upgrade.

The new system included protective underlayment, ice-and-water barrier (protective membrane that blocks water and ice), starter shingles, drip edge, flashing, and finished ridge caps. The team also replaced the dormer’s low-slope roof with a durable modified-bitumen membrane, because shallow roofs need a different approach than standard shingles.:rain_cloud::hammer_and_wrench:

The project did not stop at the main home. Our team also replaced the garage roof, installed new ventilation, refreshed the small shed roof, and added a solar-operated Velux skylight with a room-darkening shade. That means more daylight when wanted and fewer surprise rain guests when the weather turns.

Anchor Point Roofing helps Chicago homeowners make full roof replacements straightforward, durable, and built for local weather. From shingles to flat-roof membranes, we handle the details that help a home stay protected season after season. :house_with_garden:
